COVID-19 Info

Dear Patient,

The present COVID-19 situation has put an unforeseen strain in the health care resources at our clinic. As a result, in many instances, we may have more patients to be seen that our present capacity allows. To handle the needs of the sicker patients in our urgent care clinic we will start immediately triaging every patient that comes to be seen with no appointments.

The purpose of this triage is as follows:

• To identify patients that are COVID positive and that have no symptoms and are low risk so they can go home with instructions and self-quarantine themselves.

• To identify patients that are symptomatic with COVID and schedule them to be seen by Telehealth or scheduled appointments.

• To identify patients with severe COVID symptoms that may need to be admitted and transport them by necessary means to appropriate medical facilities.

As a result, patients with other diseases or conditions that are non-emergent or urgent may need to be scheduled to see a provider.

If you feel that your condition or conditions require immediate attention we advise you to go to the nearest emergency room or medical facility.

We are very appreciative for your understanding of this temporary new policy in our urgent care.
